From Summer 2021 through Fall 2021, this Sing for Hope Piano by Chris Spinelli was on display at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in Red Hook. Serving populations such as the local NYCHA housing and LaGuardia High School students, this community center hosted concerts and singalongs within the art gallery for patrons to enjoy. After its time in the public spaces of the center, the Sing for Hope Piano now lives permanently within the black box theater of the Coalition where it is the centerpiece of the theater programs.

The Sing for Hope Pianos
Sing for Hope Pianos is a global arts program that creates
artist-designed pianos, places them in public spaces for everyone to
enjoy, then transports and activates them year-round in schools,
hospitals, and community centers worldwide. Sing for Hope has provided
more pianos for under-resourced public schools than any other
organization in the world.
